These instructions are for merchants that have already completed downloading the TryNow app to their Shopify store.
Steps for registering and setting up your Merchant Portal
Step 1- Create your account by entering a password of your choosing. The email address you'll use to log in here will be the same email you use to log into Shopify. This first account you create will automatically be the Administrator for the account, and will have Admin privileges like editing settings. You will be able to add more users and configure their access under the Settings > Users tab.
Tip - Bookmark the Merchant Portal login page so you can easily access it later on.
Step 2 - After creating your account, navigate to the Settings tab of TryNow’s Merchant Portal and select your timezone, input your returns URL, and grant access to users in your organization to complete TryNow’s Merchant Portal set-up. These fields are editable and can be changed later.
Tip - The returns URL is the webpage that your shoppers will be redirected to if they want to place a return. For merchants that do not have an RMS portal, we suggest including the FAQs page or Returns Policy webpage that has more info on how to start a return.
Step 3 - To define the terms of your purchase option you need to indicate the number of days you’d like a shopper to have your product (denoted by “Trial Period Days”) and the number of days you’d like to give the shopper, reverse logistics carrier, and your fulfillment center to return the item and process the return (denoted as the “Return Period Days”) before charging the shopper for kept items. These fields are editable and can be changed later.
Note: If at any point you are unable to edit these settings, verify the account you are using is the Admin. Only Admin accounts are able to edit these settings.
Once you’ve indicated the terms of the Purchase Options you are ready to add products and their variants from your catalog to the Purchase Option! Steps to do this can be found here: Adding the TryNow Selling Plan to Your Products
