A Mixed Cart is when a shopper checks out with both ‘TryNow’ and ‘Buy Now’ items. If there is at least one item in the cart that is ‘TryNow’, the shopper will go through the TryNow checkout experience. This means the customer will go through a single checkout experience, see one card authorization for the full amount of the order, and be charged once at the end of the trial for any kept items like a standard TryNow order.
Mixed carts provide the optimal shopper experience. Shoppers have maximum flexibility to create the cart they want, increases conversion by avoiding split checkouts for a single order, and avoids shopper confusion and customer support inquiries caused by having two separate charges for the customer’s items.
